Have you ever wondered what would happen if, all of the sudden, you felt free to expose to the world not only your well-thought-out, eloquently expressed ideas, but also those unexplored thoughts that you know have been playing a major role in directing your life, but which you haven’t had the time – or the courage – to examine, let alone express? Those wanderings of the mind, that maybe you’ve tried to articulate, but have come out clumsy and have muddied the water even more?
My hope is to create a platform to hold such thoughts…to free up space in my head and ease any heaviness I feel in my heart, so I could keep moving forward, brave and unafraid. Head first into exploring and expressing what is true for me in the moment, so that any moment that follows would be build on a foundation of a truly authentic me. I have learned that over the years, the intention of living a truly authentic life has become more and more difficult to uphold, because there is more and more at stake. I am sure that this is true for many of us. But this doesn’t diminish the importance of trying, and of reminding ourselves that courageous living – the one in which we are unafraid to show our authentic self to the world – is the only way of living that will set us on the trajectory of creating a deeply meaningful life.
I invite you to feel with me… Perhaps my words bring up a memory of yours, or a feeling that you had buried because it was too painful to keep alive, and maybe it propels you to action that will bring you needed closure. Maybe you cry or maybe you find that time and life circumstances have helped heal old wounds, and you can smile at your past now. Perhaps a thought on a page sets you on a path of developing ideas that motivate you to radically change the course of your life right now. And maybe you feel grateful for all the blessings in your life. In whichever way you may be moved, I invite you to stay curious and open, and work on building up courage to keep reaching out to one another, developing an ever-greater awareness of our interconnectedness.
