You come to me in dreams I feel your spirit flowing through me I can almost touch you But I don’t need to I see you floating through daylight Your gaze upon me when I turn away I do the same When you’re not looking And sometimes Our eyes meet And just for a moment All else falls away There is reaching that remains undone A space between us filled to the brim The energy bursts palpable Activated, with nowhere to go There is intentional non-doing Mindful witnessing of all that is Watching, allowing and releasing Outwardly composed Internally conflicted These sensations are reminders Of what makes us feel alive Even when we say nothing at all And carry on With the rest of our day.
